Author T.C. Boyle, who has written 25 novels and story collections, will speak at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in an event sponsored by the University of Texas’ Michener Center for Writers.
The event will be held in the Avaya Auditorium, POB 2.302, on the campus at the southeast corner of Speedway and 24th streets.
Boyle’s latest novel is “The Harder They Fall,” which deals with libertarianism, psychosis and violence in American culture.
The Ransom Center at UT has an extensive Boyle archive, and the author’s appearance is supported by the Texas Institute on Literary and Textual Studies.
Parking is available at the UT San Jacinto Garage, and the event is free and open to the public.
