The Literary Death Match will make a return to Austin at 8:35 p.m. April 14 at the North Door, 502 Brushy St.

The event features four writers who’ll read from their work, and then their performances are assessed by three judges, leaving one overall winner.

This spring’s readers will be Antonio Ruiz-Camacho, author of the story collection “Barefoot Dogs”; Cecil Castellucci, author of “Grandma’s Gloves”; Jason Neulander, founder of Salvage Vanguard Theater; and K.A. Holt, author of “House Arrest.”

The event will be hosted by Literary Death Match creator Adrian Todd Zuniga.

Judges will be Geoff Dyer, author of “But Beautiful”; Kathy Valentine, songwriter and musician; and Andy Langer, journalist and radio DJ for KGSR.

Tickets are $10.
